Purpose/Objectives of the Course
Within the framework of the course, the following thematic modules are developed: Introductory concepts. Structure of skin, hair, nails. Nanotechnology and cosmetology preparations. Project Management of innovation projects in the field of cosmetology. Cellular techniques for proving the safety and effectiveness of ingredients and cosmetic products. Industrial production of essential oils and extracts. Applications of natural products in cosmetics I. Laboratory I (creams, shampoos, sunscreens, powders, face masks). Laboratory II (diffusion experiments with human skin). Biophysical studies of skin. Laboratory V (biophysical studies of the stratum corneum). Laboratory VI (Development of cosmetological preparations by the students).
