Academic Identity
All postgraduate and doctoral students in Greece are entitled to an academic identity card. The academic ID also acts a discount ticket for public transportation. You can issue your academic card after your admission and after you have activated your institutional account here: https://academicid.minedu.gov.gr/
European Youth Card
With the European youth card you can enjoy special privileges in Greece and in 37 countries abroad! You can get it if you are a young person between the ages of 13 and 30. It is valid for one year, it costs €10 and is renewed every year.

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest Greek university. The main campus is located in the city center and covers an area of approximately 430,000 m2, while some of its facilities, educational or administrative, are located outside the campus or in other cities.
University Student Club
The University Student Club is housed in the east of the campus (Egnatia & 3rd September). It offers breakfast and 2 lunches, 7 days a week. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are entitled to free meals under conditions set by relevant provisions.

Library and Reading Room
The Central Library is located in the center of the campus, opposite the TIF trade gate. It consists of two buildings: the old and the new. The old building houses the administrative services of the library and the student reading room. The new building is located next to the old one and houses the scientific reading room where the Information, Lending and Inter-lending service is located.
Borrowing of material is carried out preferably but not exclusively through an electronic form. The collection takes place after the relevant email has been sent and the return takes place according to the libraries’ opening hours

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Gymnasium
Sports, intramural leagues and tournaments, dance, exercise and nature outings are just a few of the many activities the University Gym offers to all members. The University Gymnasium is housed in the east of the campus (3 Sepetembriou and Ag. Dimitriou).

Health Care
You can be the owner of an individual health care book. The booklet is granted upon application to the Department’s Secretariat. Holders of care book from another organization should be deleted from it. The validity of the booklet is renewed every year by the Secretariat of the Department. In case of loss of the booklet it is possible to replace it in 2 months. If you are in need of medical treatment, you can come every day during working days at specified times to the Student Club clinics (corner of Nea Egnatia Street and 3rd September) to be examined.
Student health care is provided free of charge and includes: medical examination/ hospital examination/ drug treatment/ prayer examinations/ home examination/ deliveries/ physiotherapy/ dental care/ orthopedic items.
Center for Counseling and Psychological Support
The Counseling and Psychological Support Center offers counseling support to students of A.P.Th. It provides free services on issues such as: stress, difficulties adapting to a new environment or to studies, family/personal difficulties, psychosomatic problems, etc.
