Proclamation of the Program
The proclamation of the program , as well as the participation requirements are published online on the websites of the School of Pharmacy (https://www.pharm.auth.gr) and the PSP MSc in Industrial Pharmacy (https://industrial-pharmacy.gr) from June to September every year.
Admission Requirements
Admission in the PSP requires the timely submission of applications and the accompanying supporting documents, following the guidelines specified in the proclamation of the PSP each academic year.
Applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a Greek Higher Education Institution (AEI), such as Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields.
Graduates of Greek Technological Educational Institutes (TEIs) in relevant disciplines can also be accepted.
Additionally, holders of bachelor’s degrees from foreign institutions are accepted, provided that their degree is recognized by the Hellenic NARIC-DIKATSA (Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Titles and Information).
Intake
The intake per academic year has been set (according to the regulations of the PSP) to a maximum of thirty-four (34) students. The steering committee, which serves as the coordinating body, determines at the beginning of each academic year the exact number of postgraduates to be admitted. The selection is made after the evaluation of all applications and an interview.

- Language Proficiency Certificate in at least one foreign language
- Certificate of Professional Experience, Publications, Scientific Announcements
- Recommendation Letters (up to 2)
- In case of admission with reduced fees based on financial criteria, the required supporting documents
Remote Student Group
Out of the maximum of thirty-four (34) admitted students, up to a maximum of ten (10) students, referred to as the ‘remote group,’ may attend the lectures via synchronous remote learning. Their physical presence is required for one to two weeks per academic year to complete laboratory training and participate in final exams. The remote group can include those working in jobs related to Industrial Pharmacy, or those who work more than 50 km away from the university campus.
Additionally, in this group can participate those with significant hindrances in attending lectures and laboratories in person (e.g., serious health reasons).
Participation in the remote group is subject to a decision of the Steering Committee and the availability of positions.
The exact dates for conducting laboratory exercises and examinations are determined by the program’s steering committee.
Selection Process
The Steering Committee reviews the application of each candidate. Those who meet the admission criteria are then invited for an interview. Subsequently, it approves the final ranking of successful candidates for each academic year, which is published on both the School’s and the PSP’s websites.
In the case of a tie between candidates, if they both have the same undergraduate degree, precedence is given to the one with the highest GPA. Otherwise, consideration is given to the relevance of the degree, the grade, and finally, professional experience and research activity.
